About Us

Tail Wag Walkers is owned by Nancy Largent and her 12 year-old daughter, Jessica. We love dogs, and run our dog care business out of our home in Carrboro, North Carolina.

We are fully-insured by Liberty Mutual, and have been professional dog walkers since 2018 — although we have been walking and caring for our own pups since Nancy got her first dog, Daisy, when she was 12 years old.

We offer dog walking, doggie day care, overnight boarding, bathing, and brushing for your canine companion. We only have one dog in our care at a time, or two dogs if they are part of the same family. Walks are usually 30-minutes – 1 hour. Day care in our home can be anywhere from one hour, to a half-day, full-day, or overnight. We are open seven days a week. Discount packages are available for multiple days. View our rates here.

While in our care, your pup will be treated like family, with lots of pampering, play time, attention, long walks, treats (if allowed), and cuddles. You can provide your own dog food, (which is preferred to prevent any GI issues that might be caused by a sudden change in diet), or we can feed your dog our special organic Halo brand dog food. We can also give any medications, if needed.
